I’m finally getting used to the time difference here, it’s somehow harder than I remember. And Moscow is an insane place. Here are some pictures, quickly, since I have to run and catch the football match between Russia and Spain:
View from my gramma’s balcony. (click below for more)
Another view
Greenness and rainbows.

My cousin and aunt. Oh and a convent where the tsar’s unmarried daughters and unneeded wives were sent.

Russia is in a demographic crisis, so the government is trying all manner of things, like these guilt posters, to get people to make more babies. The caption above reads: “May mom definitely find me!” and the one below: “Maybe you could become his mother?” Oh, ps, 2007 was the year of the baby.

Fairy tale sculptures are plentiful.

Eternal flame commemorating WWII and veterans
My cousin, and the street named after her.
Russian day care center. (I kid I kid)
This kind of fluff is everywhere, and gets in your eyes/nose/mouth/etc when it’s windy.
Metro
